Made in the Drôme region of France, this Saint-Uze milk pot comes from one of the country's most storied pottery traditions. The Saint-Uze workshops, founded in the early 19th century, became known for their creamy stoneware and delicate blue floral motifs, instantly recognizable and now deeply collectible. This petit example pours from a pinched spout with a simple loop handle, its creamy body scattered with the hand-drawn blue flowers that gave Saint-Uze its name for refinement. Once used to carry milk to a provincial table, it now looks perfectly at ease on an open kitchen shelf or set beside mismatched cups for an everyday ritual.
