Petit Yellow Confit Pots

France, 19th Century

$295

These petite yellow confit pots are the kind you almost never see in this smaller size, which is exactly why we grabbed them. Traditionally used in French kitchens to store preserved meats under fat, they have that perfect everyday shape: rounded belly, sturdy little handles, and a warm yellow glaze that’s worn in all the right places from real use. The name comes from the French verb confire, meaning “to preserve,” which is basically their whole job. Sold individually (left, middle, or right), they’re an easy way to bring a bit of old French pantry life onto your shelves, whether you use one as a utensil crock or just let it sit pretty on the counter. Exactly as pictured.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
