A French lion-head tureen, the miniature kind you spot at old bistros and instantly want to steal. Found in slightly varying sizes and made from sturdy porcelain, each bowl has its little pedestal base and those sculpted lion handles that originally cradled individual portions of soupe à l’oignon. Sylvie reaches for them for just-right bowls of soup, a scoop of something sweet, or a handful of olives on an apéro table. Sold individually.
Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
Notes from Sylvie:
We have many of these sweet little dishes, and there is some variation in the dimensions of them as shown in the image. These pieces may have minor glaze chips, drips, and cracks, each a charming mark of its age.
All items are final sale.
