We found this rare Louis XV mirror in Barjac, and it hasn’t left our minds since. Hand-carved with scrolling florals, latticework, and a basket motif at the crest, it’s a true 19th-century piece - ornate but not fussy, decorative but not too much. The gilt frame has worn in all the right places, and the mirror glass has softened with time. Sylvie loves to lean it above a dresser, a mantel, or anywhere it can catch the morning light.
