We nearly kept this one for ourselves. Found in Lyon and made of walnut, this mid-century side table is all about the details - concentric carving on both tiers, chunky turned legs, and just the right height to slip beside a chair. The wood has mellowed beautifully over time, with a warm tone that works anywhere. Sylvie styles it with a candle, a good book, and a few stems from the garden.
