She started life as a farm table and somewhere along the way got smartly reworked into a desk - and we love it. Dating to the 19th century and found in Béziers, this piece has a solid top, turned legs, and a single drawer tucked neatly to one side, leaving generous knee space beneath. You can feel the shift in how it was used: built first for meals and utility, then reshaped into a desk where papers, ledgers, and hands would have stayed longer in one place. Sylvie loves to style it stacked books, a letter organizer and freshly picked wildflowers.
