A thoughtful little desk with a very practical past. Found in Avignon, this 1930s French piece was likely made for a child, with its compact proportions and five-drawer layout designed to keep everything in its place. The grey-blue painted wood has a softly worn finish, and the clean lines reflect that early Art Deco restraint. One knob is missing, but it doesn’t take away from its charm. Sylvie would use it as a side table or entry way scene, styled with freshly foraged flowers.
