From Normandy and dating to the 19th century, this corner cupboard was uncovered in Béziers, a form designed to make use of every inch of a room - tucked neatly into corners where storage was needed but space was tight. These pieces were common in French homes where built-ins weren’t the norm, offering a way to store tableware, dry goods, or linens without taking over the room. Sylvie loves it in a dining room corner with everyday ceramics, glasses and some cookbooks of course.
