Hungarian Patina Vessel

Hungary, 19th Century

$125

Step into a storybook Eastern European world with a Hungarian Vessel. These rare treasures, available in two sizes, were pulled from centuries old dirt in remote regions of Hungary. Each vessel is a true one of one, with wear, tear, dirt and patina. Originally used to store oil, butter and vinegar - think of these as the olden time Tupperware. Each vessel tells a tales of cozy village kitchens and the hands that crafted them. Sylvie displays these proudly in her estate as stand alone styling pieces and for holding flowers and herbs.
