Antique Glass Bell

Antique glass bell cover, or cloche, once used in 16th-century French gardens to shield young plants from frost—and later borrowed by scientists for early experiments. We found this one in Barjols, and Sylvie loves it now as a tabletop greenhouse for seedlings, or as a clever (and chic) way to cover dishes at your next garden party.
