We found this antique French copper wash basin in Vauvert, originally used for washing dishes in a busy French kitchen. Recently repolished to a soft gleam, it features a flat back so it sits flush against the wall. Sylvie keeps hers on the counter, piled high with lemons, mandarins, or whatever citrus is in season.
