Oak Breakfast Table

France, 20th Century

$1,695

Antique One-Of-A-Kind Wood

The big dining table was for company, but the easy meals of the morning were taken at a small round one like this. Found in Avignon and dating to the 20th century, it is oak, a round top set on a single turned post that spreads into three curved legs at the floor. Three legs sit flat on a floor whether it is level or not, which is why a table built this way still stands steady after a century. Sylvie sets it by a window with a chair or two, laid for coffee in the morning.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
