Mini Water Vessel

Belgium, 19th Century

$75

Antique One-Of-A-Kind Styling Essential

The original water bottle! Found in Belgium and dating to the 19th century, this antique mini vessel rises in a small amphora shape with two little handles at the shoulder, glazed a deep russet across the top and left as bare clay below. The glaze seals the top where it matters while the bare terracotta is left open on purpose, so the clay can breathe and keep what is inside cool, the oldest refrigeration there is. Sylvie stands it on a counter or a shelf - a perfect styling piece.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
