The best conversations in a kitchen happen at the counter, where someone always pulls up a tall stool to keep the cook company. Found in Le Mans and dating to the 20th century, it has a round seat on four splayed legs, held together low down by an iron ring that doubles as a footrest. That iron band is the clever part, hooping the legs tight and giving the feet a rail to rest on, the way every good counter stool has since. Sylvie lines them up at a kitchen island or a high counter. Three available, sold individually.
Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
Notes from Sylvie:
Dear collector, as with many antiques, this piece may show signs of its age, including subtle repairs, a bit of movement, cracks, scratches, small holes, and surface variation from years of use.
All items are final sale.
