Vintage One-Of-A-Kind Statement Piece

Eighteen bins, each with a front that flips open to its own load and a label to say what's inside, kept a whole trade sorted in one tall cabinet. Found in Montpellier and dating to the 20th century, it stands in three columns of hinged fronts that flip to open, metal knobs and label holders across each, on a plinth base. Every front drops open to a deep box behind, built to hold the loose stuff of a shop or workshop, grain, seed, hardware, or paper, whatever needed keeping dry and in reach. Sylvie stands it in a pantry or a living room, holding everything a house needs kept but not seen.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
