Antique One-Of-A-Kind Rare Jaw Dropper

Long tables like this one spent their whole lives at the center of a room, floured and scrubbed and leaned upon from every side, and the finest of them came through the years only more handsome for it. Found in Toulon and dating to the 20th century, it runs long on turned legs and small casters, a molded-edge top above a full lower shelf, kept somehow in remarkable condition. A work table this size, with its shelf and casters still intact, is a rare thing to come across, most having been worn out or broken up long ago. Sylvie would roll it into the middle of a kitchen, stools drawn up and baskets on the shelf below, and let it go on being the heart of the room.

Notes from Sylvie:

Dear collector, as with many antiques, this piece may show signs of its age, including subtle repairs, a bit of movement, cracks, scratches, small holes, and surface variation from years of use. The table is in good overall condition with a gleaming wood finish and gentle surface wear throughout. The wheels have a slight wobble but work well. The underside is unfinished raw wood, with some plaster and paint splatter on the lower surfaces that is not visible during use.
