Charles Dudouyt Chair
France, 20th Century
$445
Charles Dudouyt began his career as an illustrator and painter, and his artistic sensibility shines through in every detail of this low stool we found in Barjac. The turned legs and rush seat carry his signature sculptural weight, blending functionality with the painterly touch he became known for. It’s a grounded, low, piece- perfect beside the hearth or pulled up next to the coffee table. We have several of these available, and you probably need two.

27.5" H x 18.5" W x 18" D (seat seat 12")

Wood Frame with Rush Seat

Notes from Sylvie:
We have several of these chairs, each one is slightly different, but all are in really lovely shape. Past woodworm holes, repairs, cracks, patina, and stains all add to its character.
