19th c. Spanish Dining Table

Spain, 19th Century

$3,995

The kind of table that stops you mid-scroll. Built in 19th century Spain and found in Avignon, this oak dining table balances strength and sculpture with those unmistakable scroll-cut legs joined by original wrought iron stretchers. Each curve feels deliberate, cut by hand with the precision and pride of a craftsman who knew his work would outlast him. The solid oak top, rich with age and use, lifts cleanly from the base - one of the few antique designs built to come apart for moving, a rare and ingenious touch. Grand, weighty, and unapologetically architectural, it’s less a table and more a statement of permanence- the kind Sylvie calls an heirloom.
