This stool was found in France and dates to the midcentury. It’s made from solid wood, with a circular seat carved in soft ripples that seem to catch the light as you walk past. Three turned legs give it an easy balance - sturdy, but with that quiet French refinement. The surface shows gentle wear from use, the kind that only makes it better. Two nearly identical stools are available, each sold separately. Sylvie keeps one beside a reading chair, topped with a candle and a half-finished book.
