Found in Barjac and dating to the 19th century, this hand-carved wooden board shows deep knife marks and soft edges from generations of use. Sylvie leans hers against the backsplash, layering it with other boards to build quiet texture in the kitchen, but it comes out most nights for an impromptu cheese board to accompany an aperitif.
