Sylvie spotted this cabinet in Avignon and didn’t even hesitate. A 19th-century oak piece with hand-carved panels, a scalloped apron, and those curled little feet that give it a bit of lift. The surface has a dry, matte finish from decades of use, with small scuffs and variations that come from being opened and closed a thousand times. Inside, the shelving is wide and practical, making it just as useful in a dining room as it is in a bedroom. Sylvie loves it as a storage piece that still feels collected and considered. Exactly as pictured.
