This little half-moon stool was originally built for milking, its three splayed legs keeping it steady on uneven barn floors. Found in France and carved from solid hardwood, it now moonlights as extra seating or the most charming petite side table. Sylvie keeps one beside the bath for a book and a glass, and another in the living room as a low perch for whatever she’s currently obsessed with.
