Found in Béziers and sanded back completely to a pale raw finish, it shows off the solid wood beneath, along with a few deep surface gouges that tell you it earned its keep. The trestle construction comes apart into legs, stretcher, and pins, and the legs are securely bolted to the top in the traditional way. Sylvie loves this table for its scale and simplicity, the kind that anchors a dining room, holds court at the center of a kitchen, or becomes the ultimate project table for a creative household.

This style of table, a trestle table, comes apart into legs, stringer, top and pins. The surface has been completely sanded to a raw wood with tool marks evident. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.
