Antique Hard To Find One-Of-A-Kind

This workbench has lived a few lives and wears every one of them proudly. Found in central France, it began as a woodworker’s bench before an artist claimed it and let the paint fly. The base was raised years ago to create a comfortable working height, giving it the proportions it still carries now. Sylvie love this piece as an incredible console table, especially along a long hallway where its texture and history can do their thing.

This piece has been raised up with blocks of wood. It has holes in the surface and paint drips throughout. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.
