The Alps Corner Cupboard, found in Montpelier, carries its original starburst-carved door and a working key, with the frame intentionally sanded back to a lighter shade that highlights the age and depth of the darker front panel. Inside are two sturdy shelves, just as you’d expect from an Alpine household that needed every bit of storage to be practical.
