Ooh la la! Found in France and dating to the 1940s, this Art Deco coffee service is a five-piece set that feels extremely elegant. Most likely made from silver plate, the faceted silhouettes are unmistakably of the period - softened by warm wooden handles that sit comfortably in the hand. The set includes a coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, and an original serving tray that ties everything together. The bottom of each piece is stamped with the manufacturer's stamp 'St James'. Sylvie loves this set displayed as a group - on a sideboard or bar - where it can be appreciated as much for its form as for what it was made to do.
