Alsace Pot

France, 19th Century

$155

Antique

One-Of-A-Kind

Exactly As Pictured

A one of a kind Alsace handled pot with a soft gray glaze and painterly cobalt brushwork, finished with those perfectly practical loop handles and a thick, rolled rim made for real work. These vessels were originally used in Alsatian homes as everyday storage and serving pieces, moved from pantry to table for everything from preserves to dry goods, and this one still wears its history proudly in the subtle kiln speckling and gentle surface wear. Use it now as a countertop utensil crock or a vase for branches on open shelving. Exactly as pictured.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
