This one came straight out of a private collection in Provence, where Simon welcomed Sylvie into his bastide and told her to choose wisely… so she chose this. The metalwork is beautifully knotted and open-framed, and the base is a full sculpted foot, complete with toes and defined toenails that are frankly impossible to ignore. The turquoise patina is entirely earned, mellowed by years outdoors. Sylvie loves it tucked into a corner with something wild spilling out of it, letting that foot quietly steal the show.
