Cevennes Book Shelf

France, 20th Century

One-Of-A-Kind

She's simple but she's fabulous. Found in Avignon, originally from the Cévennes and made from fir in the early 1900s, the construction is straightforward with a surface worn in from daily use, likely once holding kitchen wares or pantry goods. The warmth comes from that history, not decoration. Sylvie uses it low as a bookshelf or console, stacked with books, ceramics, and whatever tends to gather.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
