Sylvie Favorite

A workbench that lived two lives in the winery. Found in Bordeaux, this sturdy wooden bench once served both as a practical work surface and a place to store bottles, a common dual-purpose piece in vineyard workshops where space and utility mattered. The thick plank top and functional front vise were used for repairs and everyday tasks, while the built-in racks below kept bottles of wine close at hand. Its dark wood, carved details, and deep patina show the wear of years spent in a working cellar. Sylvie loves it now as a wine rack and console where bottles, glasses, and a vase of flowers feel perfectly at home.
