Hardworking baskets with a story to tell. These tall Portuguese grape harvesting baskets are woven from sturdy strips of wood and were once carried through vineyards during harvest. Workers often carved their initials into the sides so they could keep track of how much fruit they gathered during the day, small marks that still remain on some of the baskets today. Sylvie loves them repurposed as oversized laundry baskets or filled with blankets beside the sofa.
