One-Of-A-Kind

Sylvie Favorite

All the charm of a farmhouse table, with the practicality of built in storage. This 19th century Portuguese kitchen island features a generous plank top worn smooth from years of use, two wide drawers fitted with simple wooden knobs, and delicately turned legs joined by a scalloped apron. Originally the hardworking center of a rural kitchen, it would have been used for prep, kneading dough, and storing essential tools close at hand. Sylvie loves it as beautiful island or dining table, ready for chopping boards, market produce, and a stack of well loved cookbooks.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.

Dear collector, This piece is raw wood so it is greying slightly from years of use. You can see a few nails attaching the top boards to the legs and two drawers. There is some minor staining on the top. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.
