These came straight from an Alpine chalet. These pine chairs from the Alps are carved from thick planks with a sculptural, almost folk art silhouette. The tall backs feature a simple heart cutout, while the solid plank seats and wide bases give them a sturdy, grounded feel. The rich grain and warm tone of the pine highlight the handmade character of the piece. Two available, sold separately, exactly as pictured.

Please note these chairs are very sturdy, there are some small gaps between the boards and minor wear from years of use. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.
