19th c. Spanish Cupboard

Spain, 19th Century

Antique

One-Of-A-Kind

Rare

We were welcomed by new friends in the Netherlands for this one - and it didn’t disappoint. A father and son team with a real instinct for pieces like this, the kind of people Sylvie bonds with instantly over the hunt. Originally from Spain and dating to the 19th century, cabinetry from this period leans expressive - thick construction paired with geometric relief carving, each panel worked individually rather than repeated by machine. Sylvie loves it styled with stacks of linens inside and the doors left slightly ajar, or closed with a simple ceramic lamp and a worn stack of books on top.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
