Found in Béziers, this late 19th-century table was built for two, the small round kind a French household kept for morning coffee and quiet meals away from the big table. A round top rests on a single central post that spreads at the bottom into three curved legs. The single post is the point of it, holding the top up without a leg at any corner, so chairs could be drawn in close all the way around a table this small. Sylvie sets it by a window with a chair pulled up, just big enough for coffee and a plate and the book you are halfway through.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.

Dear collector, as with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it. Because of its moving mechanism these tables tend to have a bit of a wiggle to them, specifically the table surface. They are still perfectly functional though.
