A total French farmhouse classic, with a twist. Found in Villeneuve, this unique fil de fer egg basket dates to the 19th or early 20th century and was once an essential tool for gathering eggs from the coop, its open wire design kept them cool and dry on the walk back. We love the clever loops at the top that close when the handles are pulled together, so not a single egg escapes as you trot home.
