They don’t make dining chairs like this anymore. This set of four French rush chairs, found in Vauvert and dating to the mid-20th century, nods to the sculptural style of Charles Dudouyt with their bold lines and handwoven seats. Just as suited to a long, lingering dinner as they are to an afternoon spent sketching by the window.
