'Le Cheval' Oil Painting

We found this and immediately thought: Ralph Lauren’s Polo Bar, but oh so French. Le Cheval is a 19th-century oil painting found in Vauvert - moody, still, and painted with that quiet intensity only horse girls (and boys) understand. The gilded frame is original, a little damaged, and all the better for it.
