Petit Cupboard

Don’t let the small size fool you—this cupboard is full of presence. Found in Uzès and built in the 20th century from solid hardwood, it was likely once used in a farmhouse kitchen or tucked beside a bed in a Provençal guest room. The original finish has been sanded back to reveal the pale raw wood beneath, highlighting the soft grain and honest wear. Sylvie likes it next to a couch or bed, where its shape can shine without trying too hard.
