This desk has seen more ink, paper, and plotting than a laptop ever will. Found in Avignon, the vintage oak piece rests on a trestle base with shaped legs and a stretcher that holds it firm. This piece is very solid, with a slight wiggle side to side. The wood is raw unfinished oak with a slight hairy texture from being sanded down. Past woodworm holes, repairs, cracks, patina, and stains all add to its character.
