Discovered in Aix-en-Provence, this late 19th-century walnut side table features cabriole legs curve, a single drawer and a top that bears the marks of decades of daily use. Pieces like this would have stood quietly in bedrooms or salons, holding letters, lamps, or a stack of well-thumbed books. This piece is a little delicate, with a slightly loose top and wear to the finish on the top and legs. Its perfectly functional, just needs to be cared for.
