This early 20th-century trough, discovered just outside Avignon, once served as an animal feeder before earning its second life as a sculptural centerpiece. Hand-carved from a single block of limestone, its softened edges and weathered texture tell of years spent outdoors under Provençal sun and rain. Sylvie loves it indoors or outdoors, lined with a bag and filled with ice to chill a bottle of sparking, or a powder room sink. This one has a maker's mark carved into the basin.
