Serving looks just as well as it serves soup. Found in Barjac and dating to the 20th century, this white French tureen with lid sits proudly on its pedestal base, once meant to carry soups from kitchen hearth to dining table. Today it’s just as good holding a ladle of bouillabaisse at dinner parties, reinvented as a punch bowl, or even cheekily pressed into service as a cookie jar.
