These French herbal jars, hand-blown in the late 19th to early 20th century, once sat in apothecaries and kitchens filled with dried herbs, roots, and blends for tinctures. Each one carries the small irregularities of its making - the wobble at the rim, the faint air bubbles, the subtle green tint from iron-rich sand used by regional glassmakers. Their tall scale makes them just as striking today. Sylvie likes to drop in oversized branches or leave them empty, letting their history do the work.
