We found this early 20th-century French bench tucked in a forgotten warehouse in Lyon. Long, low, and made for gathering, it was originally built to sit beside a farm table - where meals stretched on and no one minded bumping elbows. The wood is dark and smooth, with a quiet presence that brings warmth without trying. Sylvie loves it at a dining table, at the foot of a bed, or along a hallway wall. Expect slight variations in patina, grain, and finish.
