Nearly five feet of iron drama! Standing close to 60" tall, this forged iron candlestick from Lyon makes its presence known, with a scrolling base that anchors the height and adds a flourish of craftsmanship. Made in the 20th century but echoing centuries of tradition, it recalls the monumental candlesticks once set in churches and grand halls to frame ceremony and spectacle.
In a modern setting, it’s less accessory and more statement sculpture, perfect for standing guard by a fireplace or anchoring an entryway. Sylvie likes it with a single oversized pillar candle, letting the scale and shadows do the talking.
