Wine Tasting Table
France, 20th Century
$1,295
A table that’s clearly seen a few good pours. Found in Béziers and dating to the early 1900s, this French wine-tasting table features a round top marked with old stains and bordered by hand-forged nails, signs of countless vineyard gatherings. Originally designed to fold flat and store in busy Bordeaux wineries after tastings, it now works beautifully as a small breakfast table or as an entryway piece layered with books, a vase, and the day’s mail.
Dimensions:

Wood with metal hardware
Notes from Sylvie:
My dear, please not this one has a little wiggle to it, like may wine tasting tables. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, age cracks, patina, old, inactive woodworm holes, and stains - just the way we like it.
