French Ladder

France, 19th Century

$595

Antique

One-Of-A-Kind

Hard To Find

We found this folding step ladder in Béziers, though it originally came from a farm near Grasse - a region known for its lavender fields and perfumed air. Early 20th century, solid oak, with scalloped sides that make even a tool feel sculptural. The steps are worn in all the right places, proof of years spent reaching for jars, linens, and maybe a secret stash of preserves. Sylvie loves it leaned open in the bathroom flowing with candles and towels.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
