Oak Monastery Table
France, 19th Century
$3,995
Built from solid oak in the 19th century and discovered near Avignon, this monastery table once served in a bastide in the Luberon, where it likely hosted bread, wine, and long afternoon discussions that blurred into evening. Its scale and craftsmanship are nothing short of architectural- turned legs with a stretcher base.S ylvie swears this is the dining table: big enough for your people, your rituals, and every spontaneous feast in between.

Notes from Sylvie:
There is visible joinery at the ends of the table top and some stains on the table surface from years of steadfast use. This antique piece wears its history beautifully. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.
