A rough hewn, authentic Indian wooden parat bowl, available in two sizes, is a true staple in any organic home. Traditional parat bowls in India were primarily used for kneading dough and mixing ingredients in the kitchen. This wide yet shallow bowl was an essential tool for preparing large quantities of dough for bread, chapati, and other traditional Indian flatbreads. They were also used for washing grains and vegetables, and sometimes for serving large communal meals during gatherings and festivals. With its beautifully worn texture, it’s the perfect piece to add to your kitchen counter or dining room table.
